Freebie!

A co-worker/friend and I went to a free screening of "Blades of Glory" staring Will Ferrell and Jon Heder. It was so funny! I knew it was going to be funny, but it was really nice to laugh. The screening was packed. Yes, all us losers came out that evening for a free movie.

It was a bit silly in parts, but overall it was hysterical. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars on Netflix.

Right now I'm watching a show on cable about the devils of the internet. It is very interesting. It covered everything from porn, to online gambling, pedophiles in chat rooms, suicides/bullying on myspace, and buying drugs, basically everything bad you can do online.

One of the most interesting (and depressing) were the ones where people died, like a young 13-year-old who was teased about being gay online in some chat room. It drove him to suicide and that is so sad! He was online pretty much every second (in his room behind closed doors) and his parents didn't like it, but they didn't take the steps they should have. The computer should be in a neutral room in the house with kids.

Then, another one was a girl who was smart and won a scholarship to a Florida University, and suddenly 6 months after being there emailed her family and said she was depressed, had been that way a long time and wanted to die, and that she was sorry but that when they get that email she'd be dead, and she took some cyanide in a motel room. God, that's awful.

I'm sorry to depress you guys for the weekend. I didn't mean too.

I'm tired, I was out all day today, I spent a lot of money this week. Argh! I hadn't planned on it, I have now decided to get a video ipod. So, when I do, I shall tell you. Yes, that is a big purchase for me, $250. Whew! We'll see!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Friday can't come fast enough
I know some people don't blog about work, but it's one of the ways I cope with my job. Believe it or not, I've been sort of liking the last week or two, haven't had any major mishaps, I've been getting through the week alright. Hell, I was going to say today was a great day.

But then the shit hit the fan at freaking 4:45 pm. Yes, that close to going home and I email some client the wrong shit. Well, one of those bitchy, cock sucking, shit eating clients emails me back all pissed and cc's (sends the email to someone else at the time) one of the managing attorney's. So, he calls the office manager all angry and says 'this is unacceptable, something has to be done' yadda, yadda, yadda. One of the worse things is that he has to tell the OM (office manager) "If you need me to get involved, let me know, but I doubt that needs to happen" (???) I hated that shit the most.

Basically, I just hated the fact he made it seem like it was the worse thing to happen in the history of the firm, and I don't like the idea of him saying if he needs to get involved and all that shit. THEN that fucking BITCH also calls and leaves a message about how I sent her the wrong email and that if I'm doing that then she's worried about who's getting her emails. BITCH, NO ONE! It was a fucking accident, assmunch.

I didn't think it was neccessary that she cc the attorney. I had another bitch cc an attorney and he had to come to my desk and look all annoyed asking me about the email. I mean, this cunt acted like I ran over her kids after shooting her dog. Jesus. I tried to brush it off, but ended up crying in the bathroom with a friend/co-worker talking with me/consoling.

It pissed me off because you always have to suck up to these bitchy ass clients, and it's that fuckin' 'the customer is always right' shit you have to put up with. And then that asshole says on the voicemail "I don't know what you have to do internally' I mean, damn was it really that serious? I know it was a mistake, but I guess she never made a fucking mistake in her ENTIRE SHITTY LIFE.

Yes, I know to be careful, this was a mistake. Honestly, I should have left it to do tomorrow instead of trying to hurry and get it done today. I have sent emails to clients before with mistakes and they have said something ONLY to me and I apologized and sent the right one. All she had to do was email me and say it was the wrong one. I didn't like all her added comments like drastic measures need to be taken.

I don't like this shitty job, but I'm not totally prepared to be fired either, and I didn't like how she tried to make it like this was the most unmistakable thing that could happen in the history of life and something should be done. Because when they bitch, then the attorney flips out and it's a whole thing when it doesn't have to be.

I get a lot of clients who are nice about mistakes, hell, even putting little smiley faces in the email saying 'that's okay' but this cocksucker... I hope she fucking chokes on a bone.

Well, that's all I have to say about that.

Smell the Roses
I found this fun, and found it on Why are you stalking me?"

I'm trying to enjoy this weekend. The weekends go by so fast and I get such little time off. I hope everyone is doing the same. Life goes by so fast, I rememeber when I first graduated from H.S. I remember thinking I'd be in such a different place by the time I was the age I am now. I mean, CRAP! I haven't accomplished anything.

I will have a dreams and goals rant later, but now I'll just wish you all a nice Saturday and Sunday. Take care!

One step closer to the weekend
Dare I blog at work....? I DARE! I have nothing to do. I finished a lot of work yesterday and this morning, and now I'm sitting here on the internet. Tee hee. My office manager (I'm going to have to give her a nickname that suits her) is gone to Vegas for a few days. Yea! So it's been peaceful and nice here. Today is Thursday and I can't wait for Friday!

Tonight I'm going with a friend to a movie, she has free movie passes. I don't even know what movie it is, I'll tell you tommorow.

Now, for my favorite news. My husband, er, Apolo Anton Ohno was on Dancing With the Stars Monday and did a damn fine job. Admittedly I didn't watch all of that crappy show to catch him. 2 damn hours!? I was trying to watch Prison Break. But I did catch him and saw him again thanks to Youtube.com.

Their scores weren't nearly high enough, he deserved a 10 in my opinion. Okay, MAYBE a 9, but much higher than a 7. BASTARDS! Check them out if you wish.

How are you guys? I hope you're all okay. I will check you out this weekend. I'm back to playing The Sims. LOL. It's my entertainment. I'm lame, sue me! See you guys later.

Back to the Grind
Damn, it's Sunday again already?! Man, where does the weekend go. Honestly, the weeks do go by pretty fast (sometimes) but on Monday it just seems SOOOOOOOOOO long until Friday. Ugh!

I plan on going to see Body Worlds 2 at the Museum of Science and Industry sometime within the next three weeks or something. It's here until April 29th and I really want to see it. There are a few things I want to see there, I think I should buy a Membership, lol.

I was also on Oprah.com reading and Jean Chatzky is there to tell us how to save $5,000 in a year. Possible? Possibly. Though, I don't see me being able to put away the necessary $100 - $400 every week in order to reach said goal.

I'm only bringing this up because I'm opening a savings account next week. I know, you're like 'she doesn't have a savings account?' Nope. I don't.

I don't have much else to say, I'll see you guys midweek hopefully. I'm going to finish cooking now, I'm attempting to cook Hot Wings. Heh.

You guys have a safe week!

TGIF!!
AM I GLAD IT'S FRIDAY!WHOOOOOOOO! Whew, I just had to get that out. Ahem...

I don't have much to say, but I wanted to stop by anyway. I am in the middle of changing my doctor. I'm pretty sure I have eczema or something like that. I have these scaly patches (I know, gross) on my elbows and around my eyes and it's driving me crazy! Even worse is it's getting warm and I won't be able to wear short sleves with this stuff on my elbows. And the itchiness around my eyes is not good either, it makes my eyes water. And my allergies? OUT OF CONTROL! I'm miserable.

I'm also deciding on buying an ipod. I comtemplating between an ipod nano and a video ipod. The ipod nano is $199 and the other is $249 and it doesn't seem like that is really THAT much more, only $50 and then I'd have the video options if I want them. What do you think? I don't even think I'd use that feature though, lol. Would I really download videos and TV shows? I doubt it, but the idea of having that option is kinda cool.

Lastly, any Irish readers? Or anyone who just wants to celebrate St. Patrick's day with lots of drinking? I'm not doing either (drinking or celebrating) but I'd sure love some sausage and cabbage. Anyway, enjoy your weekend regardless, I know I will.

And very, last but not least, my sister has this poll on her site (mostly for women) so if you'd be so kind as to go comment and give her some votes I'd love you and visit you forever! I promise! Just click the link, click the PDF link and then put your answers in her comments section. It's not long at all, I promise, and it will make her feel nice.

Dancing with...Apolo

Okay, I must confess, I was a little late in hearing the news that My sweet patootie is going to be on Dancing with the Stars, but that's because I was a little scared to read any Apolo news because I didn't want to hear (officially) that he won't be competing in the next Olympics. I just don't want to hear that news. With that said, I now have a reason t watch and even vote for this show. I sorta watched before, but I have a reason to watch. I CAN NOT WAIT to see Apolo dancing. Oh my god! LOL. I've seen him breakdancing and that does require a sense of rhythm, so I think he should be okay.

I'm getting pissed at work (more than usual) because they fired a Secretary and one of the attorney's quit so now there's more work to go around and they're loading it on those that are there. Well, I used to do time for 3 attorney's but with the new software they can do it themselves. I think I was lucky enough to get the only three attorney's who decided to do their own time. Those freakin' lazy ass lawyers.

So, the office manager tells me' oh, all your attorney's are doing their own times, so you should be able to keep up better' So, I'm already put out and insulted because she said that like I can't keep up now or some shit. That bitch. Then she says I can take some other attorney's time. (!)

First, I don't want or need that extra work. I had a lot of problems getting the other time in right and I had the fortune of getting attorney's who bitched, but weren't nearly as grumpy/complain-y when something was done wrong. This is why I don't want another attorney--I don't need that stress.

Plus, I don't like how she acts like work should be done according to how long she thinks it should take you and how far she thinks you should be in your work. I work the entire time I'm there, and I don't get paid enough to bust and huff like she wants me too anyway. Ugh. It was okay, but now I'm starting to get pissed again and want out.

That's all I have to gripe about today. It's c-c-c-cold here again. I'm waiting for Spring! Ugh!

Friday...Zzzzzzzz
I'm so tired! As of right now it's 2:06 a.m. and I'm online. I decided it's time to refresh the look (or image) of my blog. That's the reason I'm online, I'm looking up Photoshop tutorials and how to best implement its use in touching up my blog. I've been using Photoshop for years, but it's a massive graphics editor and I have yet to master it to the point that my images look the way I see others look across the web. *sniff*

It's incredibly time consuming to say the least. It will definetly stick wit my Buffy them, though I might go with Angel this time, I don't know. But I do know I want a different, better, more polished look. We'll see.

*********

I was almost run over tonight. LOL! Okay, it's not funny, but I know that bus driver was ready to get me off his bus. I'm sure he's wondering who that dizzy chick was on his route tonight. I'm embarrased! I felt so stupid, I'm glad I will never see any of those people again--hopefully.

Me and my sister were coming home and we were about two blocks from where I live and I had to go to the bathroom really bad. Anyway, when we were getting off one bus that bus driver asked if we wanted her to beep the horn for a bus and my sister said no, but I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that that was the bus we needed. My sister didn't care for the bus, she was going to walk.

But I got off and decided to make a run for the the bus--on a red light, and this car had to screech and stop, though I already saw it and was slowing down. But the bus drive waited for me and I got on, and then my sister gets on and then he drives away. Now we're only going two blocks, but our idiot busses "ding" every time the next street comes up and it sounds exactly like the "ding' made when you pull the cord to get off the bus, so you don't know if it's the bus dinging or if someone pulled the cord.

I thought someone pulled the cord, but they didn't, so I almost missed my stop and he had to stop really hard. I hadn't pulled the cord, mind you. He was shaking his head and I just wanted to run from the bus as fast and as far away as possible. Ugh! How embarrasing! I was mad at my sister for not wanting to catch the bus. I mean, why walk when you can ride? Sheesh!

Anyway, I shall see you guys tommorow. I think it's time for bed. Good night!
