| I love the smell of Turkey in the morning |
I guess I should be all Lisa Simpson and forgo Turkey for Tofu or some vegetables, but I just can't! I'm a meat eater! And while I love animals, and could never become a vegan, I still think it's more about how the animals are slaughtered than anything else. I KNOW there's a better way. People just don't want to spend the time and money to do it.
On a lighter note, we got out early today, at 3pm from work and I ran like a bat outta hell. I am so happy to be free! Is anyone going shopping on Friday? I haven't seen that many good deals. I'm gonna go out but I am not going to hunt for gifts, I'm just gonna buy something if I see it. No great TV on DVD out on sale. :(
I have a headache right now and am just going to chill and take it easy. I don't feel like staring at the computer right now but wanted to pop on to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I think I will go to the movies tommorow to see Twilight. I will see how things go. I'll see if I want to go out of the house and how I'm feeling. Man, the holidays are officially here. Once again. Whew!Labels: black friday, movies, thanksgiving, weekend |

| It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! |
Wow, I didn't mean to be gone for so long. I was so hung up on getting time off from work and shopping and paying bills I just didn't fit in time for blogging, and I'm really sorry I didn't stop by on Thursday the 22nd to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving. So, HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
I had a wonderful time off, relaxed, slept, shopped and watched TV. Oh, and I ate too. :)
I went out on Black Friday, though not as early as I did last year. With the exception of a couple of things, I was able to get everything I set out for, which was good because I was glad I didn't need to get out at 5am. I let the house at about 7:15am so that was good enough.
I mostly bought DVD's but I bought some pajamas, and some stuff for the house too. All in all it was a great day. So, approximately $161.47 in debt I now have added to my enormous pile of bills. But I still enjoyed the day. Now, if I can actually pay my bills on time and stop spending hundreds on late fees. God, this is my third one this month, am I an idiot or what? DON'T ANSWER THAT! ahem, moving on...
I hope everyone enjoyed their time off and together, I'm going to stop by and check on you guys, it's been too long! Man, it will soon be December. The Christmas rush is here! I don't know if I'll blog during the week, but see you next weekend. Take care!Labels: black friday, christmas, holiday |
